Skoltech Center for Computational and Data-Intensive Science and Engineering (CDISE) aims at the conduction of cross-cutting interdisciplinary research driven by modern applications in the fields of computational and data sciences. Counting 25 professors, 50+ researchers, and 80+PhD students, CDISE has accumulated several research groups with the expertise unique in Russia and competitive at the world level in their prospective areas. The Center is actively involved in collaboration with other Skoltech CREIs to provide expertise on data-intensive computational tasks.
The Center holds leading positions in Big Data processing, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence – from theoretical foundations to application in various fields including supercomputer or High-Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure. Find out more.
Another significant part of CDISE is the Center of Excellence (CoE) in Wireless Technologies and the Internet of Things under the National Technology Initiative (NTI). The CoE develops a cross-cutting WT or IoT technologies used for a multitude of purposes in a spectrum of diverse markets in Russia, such as the power sector, industries, healthcare, agriculture, etc. Find out more.
