LIFELIKE ВСЕ ТРЕКИ В ЭТОМ АУДИОАЛЬБОМЕ http://vkontakte.ru/audio.php?album_id=9570158&id=117064374 Laurent Heinrich (aka Laurent Ash, Ferris Bueller) With only 5 releases, Lifelike is seen as one of the revelation from the new parisian post "French touch" scene. This 80's music freak started at 17 as a bass player in an highschool band influenced mainly by Cabaret Voltaire, Frankie Goes To Hollywood or Simple Minds. Discovering Motorbass and specially Daft Punk's "Alive" helped the gifted kid to come to a decision: producing his own music. He joined the parisian label 20000ST (Demon's homelabel) to release his first single on ColorZ (20000ST's sublabel) "The Soul Of My Love", which features vocals performed by the NYC originated black icon Mandel Turner.plop. Massively playlisted by DJ's like Bob Sinclar or Alex Gopher and supported by the parisian "radio FG", "The Soul..." become in a few month the classic summer 2002 club anthem reaching place #5 in the french dance charts. A few months later, the single "Black Chess" ("The Cult" EP A-side), a dark but dancefloor track, was choosed by Thomas Bangalter, Philippe Zdar DJ Falcon for the famous 'Toghether 2002 Tour' as their first record played in each gig, and so became an anthem. Remixing Sebastien Leger, Demon or Curtis helped Laurent to establish his trademark. The so-80's single "My Precious Diamond", his third shot on ColorZ, reached #6 in the French club charts (summer 2003) and his last electro-discotrash remix for the UK band "Vicarious Bliss" on Pedro Winter's (Daft Punk manager) label Ed Bangers Records, has been already playlisted by Boris Dlugosh, Dave Clarke, Mark Moore or the germans from Tiefschwartz (the remix will also appear on the new Erol Alkan's mixed compilation "Bugged Out" in April 2005). United with his old time pal Roman Salzger for the Regina's ep (jan.2005), the two freaks go on their first collaboration with the well known US label Eyezcream. "Radio 84" (Regina's b-side) is ready to be an anthem and is now massively supported by ministry of sound radio in UK. Exploring pop music with "Running Out" on Work-It-Baby Rec. was one of Laurent's last challenge, trying to do something new, something a bit outside the normal club circuit. The track is reaching now major audience in UK thru Galaxy FM and BBC radio. But the biggest news of 2005 is that Lifelike is now the first external artist to be signed on Alan Braxe's Label "Vulture". The ep codenamed "Discopolis" was composed with another one of his long time pal Kris Menace from Work-It-Baby and will be release on the 14th of June this year (ref.Vult.012) just after Alan's hard-to-find remixes and work album.
