My biography is a dedication to you. It tells you in general parlances a little about me and my wide experience of music. I want to enable you to know me better and feel closer to me. I was born on a rainy day (May 29th) in the holy city of Mashad, Iran to the Hedjasi family and grew up in Germany's most beautiful city, Heidelberg. Although I was born in Iran, My background and family are from HERAT, Afghanistan.
In my childhood years I already found an increasing interest in Musical Instruments and the passion of music in me. My father (who's also an artist and musician) became heedful to my interest and supported my talent. I played traditional instruments when I had just turned 7 years old. My father taught me the way to play and my mom taught me to connect the music with the passion of love.
Years later I was fortunate to be taught Indian Classical Music by Nasrat Parsa (God Bless Him). Persian musicians and music masters gave me similar lessons. When I was able to rule with Indian and Persian Music I started to get familiar with Arabic music and my new master (Basan Ayoub). At the beginning of this year I met K.O. (Kostas Karagiozidis) who helped me realize my imaginations and achieve my plans. He also afforded me a new music aspect. This album is the result of 11 months of drudgery with my producer (K.O.)
I hope that this mixed CD of Persian and Afghan Music Brings these 2 peoples who share almost the same language and culture a lot of fun and unforgetable memories and moments. Thank You everyone for all the comments and messages. I try my best to get around and reply to almost all of the comments and messages... If I don't reply yours its most likely because I am so busy that it is hard to reply every single message/comment. I have put a lot of time and effort into my upcoming CD. I want it to be what all the fans are expecting and therefor I am pretty caught up in work.
