WHY PBT IS OUR CHOICE OF LASH MATERIAL. False lashes are made of a special plastic fiber called Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT). PBT is heated and then molded into the desired lash shape. Lashes that are made from this material are strong and have a natural glossy sheen. Moreover, they also retain their curl better. Faux mink lashes are designed to mimic the look and feel of real mink lashes. The taper is typically started lower down on the lash giving the extension a natural look and feel. They are very fine, soft and silky, just like real fur. Unlike their real mink inspirations, faux mink lashes maintain their curl due to the double-heated process that the durable PBT material is treated with. Faux Mink Lashes are very long lasting with good care, and are great if your own lashes are fine and delicate. Because they are so light, they don’t tend to drop or twist, even after many weeks of wear. The reason why we will never use or sell real mink lashes is that we are against animal cruelty. There is also no need to use the potentially allergenic, poor performing mink when PBT offers such superior advantages. Quality products are our primary concern and we hope that this shows why we would never use anything other than PBT for our extensions.
